The “Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises” list determined by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) has been announced for 2022. İzocam, which has been leading the insulation industry in Turkey for 58 years, has taken its place among the giants of the industry as the sole company that produces only insulation materials.
The companies included in the ISO 500 lists are determined by ISO based on the companies' sales from production, net sales, added value, equity, total assets, profit/loss before tax, earnings before interest taxes depreciation and amortization, exports and average number of employees in the respective year. İzocam, which took a leap forward in sales and profitability in 2022, ranked 466th in the 2022 ISO 500 list with this success, becoming the only insulation company that has made it to the ISO 500 list this year, as it did last year.
İzocam General Director Mr. Murat Savcı emphasized that İzocam, which was selected as one of the 100 most valuable brands in Turkey in the 2015 Brand Finance Report, is the sought-after brand of important projects around the world, both at home and abroad, with its products and solutions suitable for every need. Mr. Savcı has further said: “We are the only company in our country and in the world that can produce 7 different products in the
insulation sector under the same roof. Currently, we are leading the sector with our 23% market share in all insulation products.” Stating that they have crowned their leading position in the sector by taking their place in the ISO 500 list every year and becoming one of Turkey's top 500 industrial enterprises, Mr. Savcı continued his words as follows: “Since the day we were founded, we have always taken our place in the ISO 500 list with our product quality, environmentally-friendly production, our efforts to improve insulation awareness, and the successes we have achieved in many fields with our many years of experience. We have been included in the ISO 500 list as the sole company that produces only insulation materials also this year. We are extremely happy and proud to represent our sector among Turkey's industrial giants.”
İzocam raises the bar of success at home and abroad
İzocam General Director Mr. Murat Savcı noted that they achieved success well above their targets in 2022 and achieved a growth of over 110% compared to their turnover in 2021. Mr. Murat Savcı has further said: “As Turkey's largest insulation products manufacturer, we have stepped into 2023 with the aim of strengthening our production capacity, enriching our product range and increasing our market share in all product groups. Looking at the first 8 months of 2023, I would like to state that we are having a very successful year in terms of achieving our goals. We increased our sales figures by over 50% compared to last year. In terms of quantity, we have achieved increases ranging between 20% and 50% depending on the product group, especially in our Tekiz Sandwich Panel, Glass Wool, Stone Wool, extruded polystyrene (XPS) and expanded polystyrene (EPS) product groups, mostly by producing at full capacity.”
Stating that they achieved growth by creating new markets in foreign sales, Mr. Murat Savcı continued his words as follows: “In 2022, we exported 770,000 m3 of insulation materials to more than 150 dealers and customers in 56 countries. We export uninterruptedly to the Turkic Republics as well as to the countries in Africa, the Balkans, Asia and the Middle East. İzocam is a preferred brand especially in the Middle East and the Balkans. We are the most significant manufacturer of the Middle East air conditioning market. Our export sales have a share of approximately 20% in our entire turnover, and we continue to search for new markets in line with our goal of increasing this rate. Our search for markets in Central Africa, which we have focused on in recent years, will continue in the coming months. We aim to increase our promotional activities also in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.”
