İzocam, the leading company of the Turkish insulation industry, supports women's employment. Having increased the number of female employees significantly in the last 3 years, now 1 out of every 4 employees of İzocam are women.
Leading the insulation industry in Turkey for 57 years, İzocam continues to reflect the principle of equality in its employment policies by increasing the number of female employees every year. The ratio of female employees of İzocam increased from 18% to 25% in the last three years, while the number of female employees directly reporting to the General Directorate reached 43% from 17% in the same period.
İzocam Human Resources Director Gözdehan Çaycı emphasized that they care about women's labor and their participation in the workforce by standing against all gender discrimination with the principle of respect for people. Stating that women's active participation in the business world by removing the obstacles against them is extremely important for the socioeconomic development of our country, as well as being the most basic human right, Çaycı made the following statements in her message: “As İzocam, we act with the principle of equality for all matter that cause discrimination such as religion, language, race and origin, especially sexism, in our employment policies for the development of our society.
With this in mind, we take care to reflect gender equality in our employment policy by increasing the number of our female employees every year.”
Stating that the ratio of women employees has increased from 18% to 25% in the last three years, Gözdehan Çaycı said, “Currently, our women colleagues consist of 1 out of every 4 employees. The number of women employees directly reporting to the General Directorate has increased from 17% to 43% in the last 3 years. The rate of female engineers, specialists and responsible employees in our production facilities has increased from 6% to 16% in the last 3 years; the number of female employees in the potential talent pool has increased more than 3 times in the last 3 years, increasing from 9% to 29%.”
Stating that as İzocam, they adopted an open and inclusive culture in terms of corporate behavior and working principles, İzocam Human Resources Director Gözdehan Çaycı said, “According to this, we have been continuing to embrace differences in the insulation sector and act with a team spirit for 57 years. While maintaining the importance it attaches to women's rights and gender equality in employment, İzocam will continue to lead the sector in this regard.”
