İzocam, the leading brand of the insulation sector, crowned its achievements in occupational health and safety with an award! İzocam, one of the winners of the “EHS Awards” held in the international arena, was awarded the “Safety Diamond” in the category of “Safety Cultural Transformation”.
İzocam, which made its environment, occupational health and safety and (EHS) works that it carries out with the motto of “Safety starts with you” an integral part of its corporate operations, crowned its achievements in this field with the award it received in the international arena! In this context, İzocam was deemed worthy of the “Safety Diamond” in the category of “Safety Cultural Transformation” by the international jury within the framework of the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Awards (EHS Awards) organized by Saint-Gobain every year. İzocam's award will be presented on September 27th by Benoit Bazin, the CEO of Saint-Gobain, at a special ceremony to be held in Paris. The award ceremony, in which İzocam will participate online, will be broadcast digitally and can be watched by all Saint-Gobain companies around the world.
İzocam General Director Mr. Murat Savcı, who expressed that they are very proud and happy to win the “Safety Diamond” award, has said: “This award, which is the result of the careful and focused work of all our teammates, who

The work we have done, the change and transformation we have initiated, and the steps we have taken by keeping the Environment, Occupational Health and Safety awareness at the highest level as a whole team since the first day I took office have been reflected in our results, and our Environment, Occupational Health and Safety risks have been brought to a much lower level compared to previous years. Eskişehir Facility has left behind its 5th accident-free year!
Mr. Murat Savcı, who stated that their investments in Environment, Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) continue and that they will continue their works in this area uncessantly in the future, made the following statements: “As İzocam, we aim to be a sustainable company through ‘personal commitment, leadership and excellence’ by making the environment, occupational health and safety an integral part of our daily operations with the participation of all our employees. Accordingly, our Eskişehir Facility has left behind its 5th occupational accident-free year, and our Tarsus Facility has left behind its 1000th occupational accident-free day.
In order to perpetuate this success, we carry out activities to increase the sensitivity and awareness of our employees in terms of environment, occupational health and safety. We organize EHS tournaments with the participation of our employees, carry our field practices to improve the behavioral culture and various other events. In addition to all these, we organize various Environment, Occupational Health and Safety trainings. In this way, we always keep Environment, Occupational Health and Safety at the forefront of our employees' agenda. We celebrate Occupational Health and Safety Week in May and Environment Week in June every year with our internal and external communication activities, and act with the mission of keeping Environment, Occupational Health and Safety on the agenda not only of our employees but also of our customers and stakeholders.
In addition, as İzocam, we have been implementing the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System since 1999 and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which was certified with OHSAS 18001 in 2001 and recertified with ISO 45001 in 2021, in all our facilities.
