Izocam, the leader of the insulation industry in Turkey, continues its growth move both in the domestic and foreign markets. Izocam, which finished the year 2020 with a turnover of over 660 million TL and a turnover increase of nearly 30 percent compared to the previous year, took a step towards 2021 with the motivation of the successful period it left behind. The company, which has been in the ISO top 500 for many years and has achieved a very successful sales and profitability graph in the first 6 months of this year, has achieved a turnover increase of nearly 90 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Stating that the adaptation of the markets to the pandemic process, together with the contribution of their strategies in different channels and product groups, was effective in this success they have achieved, Murat Savci, General Director of Izocam, said, "We experienced the negative impact of the pandemic-induced closures only in May this year. We can say that the growth momentum is high in the other months. The positive effects of the loan growth, which started in the 3rd quarter of 2020, continued until May of this year. This effect also reflected
positively on our sales. In this context, when we compare the first 6 months of 2021 with the same period of the previous year, we have achieved a turnover increase of nearly 90 percent in the total of the domestic and foreign markets. In addition, in the period when the project market contracted, we experienced a growth of over 100 percent in some product groups in our retail sales channel. In the light of these positive developments in our business volume in the first 6 months of 2021, we predict that we will leave behind a successful year.”
Growth in foreign markets is over 75 percent
Emphasizing that they displayed a successful graphic in export markets as well as in the domestic market this year, Izocam General Director Murat Savci noted that they achieved a growth of over 75 percent in their export turnover in the first 6 months of 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year. Stating that as a company whose exports exceed 600,000m³, they export insulation products used in buildings and industry, and products for the heating, cooling and air conditioning market, Savci said: “At the end of 2020, the share of exports in our turnover was around 20 percent. At the end of 2021, we aim to visibly increase the share of our export revenue in our turnover.”
